Terms of use

Short version: Collandar is free to use, be decent to the people in your groups, and don't rely on it for anything critical. Last updated 23 October 2026.

The service

Collandar lets you share your availability with groups of people and see theirs. It is provided by Dominic Salas as is, without warranties. It may change, pause or shut down; if it shuts down we will give notice and a way to export your data where we reasonably can.

Your account

You need to give a real name and an email address you control. You are responsible for who you invite to your groups and for keeping your invite links to people you trust. Anyone with a link can join the group it belongs to; you can replace a link at any time.

Acceptable use

Don't use Collandar to harass, stalk or surveil anyone, to impersonate someone, or to break the law. Don't try to access data that isn't yours or to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Calendar connections

When you connect a calendar you confirm you are allowed to share its availability with your groups. Providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft) have their own terms, which still apply to you.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Collandar is not liable for missed events, incorrect availability, lost data or any indirect damages arising from use of the service.

Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
